The National Avalanche School’s curriculum is focused on ski area management and is based
on the American Avalanche Association guidelines. This school is ideal for mountain managers,
ski and snowboard patrol, avalanche forecasters and control specialists, search and rescue,
land management and USFS employees. However, backcountry guides, serious backcountry enthusiasts
and department of transportation employees are also welcome.
